Joe Crescente is the Media Literacy Fellow for the US Embassy/American Center in Moscow, where he develops and conduct workshops, seminars, and online courses on media literacy topics for Russian students, teachers, journalists, and media educators. He earned a BA in Russian and communications at the Evergreen State College, an MA in Russian studies from Indiana University, an MA in anthropology at New York University, and an MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. In his free time he is shopping around his first novel.
